My name is Jake. I have been working with National Drones Institute for 3 years and have been instructing RePL courses for over 5 years. I have completed a Bachelor of Aviation at Griffith university, a PPL (A) at Archerfield (hopefully CPL soon), RePL (multi rotor 25kg and fixed wing < 7kg) and a Cert IV TAE. I live in Brisbane, but commonly travel interstate for training. Outside of work I like to watch Rugby League (Go Broncos), play golf and don’t mind the odd beer or two. My favourite drone to fly is the Matrice 600.
Hi there, my name is John and I am the National Drones Institute Customer Success Manager and Training Instructor, based on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. In my role, I travel around Australia supporting our customers in getting CASA qualified to realise their RPAS opportunities and dreams. As a corporate trainer with over 25 years’ experience, I have a B.Comm, Dip VET, RePL and ReOC. In my spare time I am a passionate UAV videographer, stand-up paddle surfer, Yogi, husband, dad and pa.
My name is Lloyd and I am an RPAS Instructor for National Drones. Previously, I have worked as a flight instructor, instructing other pilots for licences ranging from recreational to commercial, and as an Aerodrome Reporting Officer for a mine-site aerodrome. Having completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessing, Diploma of Aviation, and the Graduate Certificate in Aviation Management, I am continuing my development by studying a Master’s degree in Aviation Management at Griffith University. I endeavour to draw on my aviation and instructing experience to deliver quality training toward the RePL.
