Jake Milburn - National Drones
Jake Milburn

My name is Jake. I have been working with National Drones Institute for 3 years and have been instructing RePL courses for over 5 years. I have completed a Bachelor of Aviation at Griffith university, a PPL (A) at Archerfield (hopefully CPL soon), RePL (multi rotor 25kg and fixed wing < 7kg) and a Cert IV TAE. I live in Brisbane, but commonly travel interstate for training. Outside of work I like to watch Rugby League (Go Broncos), play golf and don’t mind the odd beer or two. My favourite drone to fly is the Matrice 600.

As a corporate trainer with over 25 years’ experience, I have a B.Comm, Dip VET, RePL and ReOC. In my spare time I am a passionate UAV videographer, stand-up paddle surfer, Yogi, husband, dad and pa.

Having completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessing, Diploma of Aviation, and the Graduate Certificate in Aviation Management, I am continuing my development by studying a Master’s degree in Aviation Management at Griffith University.
