- Is this the full RePL theory course?
- This covers the core theory content from the RePL syllabus. To earn your Remote Pilot Licence, you also need to complete a practical assessment. Our Online RePL ($1,650 inc GST) includes both the full theory and a 2-day practical.
- Can I get my RePL just from studying this theory?
- No — the theory is only one component of the RePL. CASA requires a practical flight assessment conducted by a certified training provider. After studying the theory here, you can enrol in our Online RePL to complete the practical and receive your licence.
- How long does it take to study the theory?
- Each unit takes approximately 1-3 hours depending on the topic. The full theory syllabus covers 10 units. You can study at your own pace and return to any unit at any time.
- Do I need any prior knowledge?
- No prior aviation or drone knowledge is required. The theory starts from fundamentals and builds progressively. It is designed for complete beginners through to experienced recreational pilots looking to go commercial.
