A 13 second loop. One long bar stands for the aircraft's limited performance. Demands push into it one at a time from the left, each with an icon: hovering the aircraft's own weight, the payload, wind, heat and height, turns, and the distance back to a safe landing area. The green space left over on the right is the margin, and it shrinks with each demand. Then the pilot simplifies the job: a smaller payload, wider turns and a shorter route shrink those demands, and the margin grows again. On a hot, high, windy day the wind and heat demands are larger, the margin turns red before simplifying, and simplifying recovers less. All sizes are schematic. The still frame shows the mild case with every demand in place and a small margin left.
