Three steps of four and a half seconds each. Step 1, potential energy: a drone takes off and climbs; a height arrow grows from the ground to the drone and a potential energy bar fills as it climbs, with the formula PE equals m g h. Step 2, kinetic energy: the drone flies along with the ground moving past beneath it; a speed bar and a kinetic energy bar are shown, with the formula KE equals one half m v squared. When the speed doubles, the speed bar doubles but the kinetic energy bar grows four times. Step 3, inertia: the drone is flying forward when the pilot commands a stop; the drone pitches back to brake but keeps moving for some distance before it stops, because inertia resists a sudden change. The still frame shows step 2 after the speed has doubled.
